Don’t mess with this highly trained, High Magic Mage. Don’t let the name of this mage confuse you, for this mage doesn’t look like a frog in any sense of the word.
These mages need be around water. Coastal cities would be a good place to find one, if stupid enough to actually want to find one. Water, fresh or salt, is the source of their power, and they will dry up and die if they don’t have access to it. So they must carry water on them, and drink a lot of it if leaving an area without natural H-2-O. In a way, this is nature balancing this mage. They are very powerful, but with this limitation, it prevents them from dominating large areas. A lot of this is due to the fact they have a water aura that keeps generated when near water.
They are by nature loners. They slowly become deformed in their mouths, their backs start to hunch over, and their heads grow horizontally. The style of hat is needed to cover the strange shape of the head on their shoulders.
If you are hunted by this kind of mage, the best place to hide will be in the middle of a desert.
Most of this class are rich, spoiled brats with way too much time on their hands. Most Hacker Mages need money to funnel the ability to hack the New Syystem. The New Syystem is too complex for most.
What happens when technology can become magic? Can you control the Syystem down to its basic Binary Code and Pixels, or will it consume you?" They have learned to control and manipulate tech into a spell-casting form. They have a tech aura that keeps them in connection with their abilities.
Hackers can be High Magic users and Low Magic users, but low magic users have to deal with more complex uses of technology. So to improvise with such tech, they may have common access to duct-tape, aluminum foil, and copper (stolen of course).
These mages really don’t see themselves as magic users. For this reason; they blend in with the environment around them. They try to live normal lives, and don’t feel the need to wear clothing that most would think of as a mage. Yet, this is their strength.
Flux mages cause bad luck on a victim. This can be either from minor strange happenings, to major ones and kill spells this class gets. With a bad-luck aura, they must avoid anything that does the opposite. So you will never see a Flux Mage carry a rabbit's foot.
They feel that blending in can help them get closer to a target without being seen or noticed.
Flux mages attract Lower Magic users than High Magic users, due to the nature of their spells. Flux Mages are looked at as cheap fighters who don’t play fair. This is why not many High Magic schools exist for Flux Mages.
Look up, you just might be unlucky enough to have a grand-piano fall on you...from anywhere.
