Who needs parachutes when you can glide into combat with Mobility Wings.
Merine Body Counts are not an option. Merines need to survive combat, for it's to expensive to replace the armor.
They come with a targeting computer that allows overhead military satellites to fire at targets for them while running and taking care of injured Merines.
They are also geared with a mobile pack to carry blood or plasma and oil or fuel, whatever is needed to get injured Merines out of harms way.
This targeting computer is their only weapon so being fit and agile is also a plus to survive.
This Merine is in the best combat gear / armor money can buy for High Shell Warfare. Bang is their game as they specialize in high hand firepower. From riffles with high end explosives, to hand-held-rocket launchers, they do concentrate mass damage to a target.
Class Weakness is mobility: to react quickly and to dodge attacks while only having short bursts of ammo. They always have to change clips, and cannot survive long combat duration without a constant need to be resupplied.
Class Strength is advanced technology. They can see-though just about any wall formation, equipped radar so no target can sneak up on them, and all have access to a doomsday decision, a Nuke if needed.
The 307 is an advanced Merine that is highly mobile. They have personal access to an orbiting weapon system of smart missiles, and laser fire power.
They can simply target their mark with a guidance laser, pull a trigger, and watch as the weapon of choice hits its target.
Because they are not trained to carry heavy fire power for personal protection, in most cases, a simple side weapon is issued to them. They must be able to be mobile and agile to avoid detection as they attempt to gain access to their target.
Their gear is highly advanced and top secret. If their suits determine they are too injured to survive extraction, the suit blows up.
